Hashtag Events are one of the UK and Ireland’s largest business event organisers. We deliver around 20 live face-to-face business shows a year and a similar number of virtual events. We welcome around 12,000 unique attendees a year to our shows and over 1,600 companies have exhibited with us so far. Your host Karen Smith will be leading our first networking session of the day and helping you with a few tips as well as a chance to present your business to everyone with your “elevator pitch”. Bring lots of business cards, grab a coffee and start the day with some great connections.

Join Scotland’s Mister Networking for your ultimate guide on how to get the most out of every networking opportunity. Colin McKeand will help you see ways to connect either in person or on your virtual networking sessions.

Sometimes business plans are demanded by partners, accountants and funders but change the instant your business kicks off. Have you even got a plan? Is it working or is it complete rubbish? Geoff Nicholson will help you analyse where you’re at and make the right judgment calls.

Anyone in business! Most of our exhibitors and presenters are geared towards B2B rather than B2C but everyone is welcome along.
Pretty much anyone. Just visit our registration page and in about 1 minute you can register for a complimentary ticket. You’ll normally receive the email confirmation in just a minute or two and you’re all set.
Absolutely. Tickets for delegates are complimentary.
Just yourself (and perhaps a pocket full of business cards). It’s helpful and quicker to check in with your ticket, either on your smartphone or printed but we can check you in without it.
Please do. The more the merrier as far as we are concerned. Just ask them to register in advance if they can although you can register on the door.

You can join in with any of the sessions during the event at any time. No special bookings or registrations are required. Just make your way to the relevant area on the day.
We always kick off our business events with a networking session. Bring your business cards and get ready to make some new connections. Beginners and seasoned pro’s are equally welcome.
No set dress code although most people opt for business casual and just make sure you’re comfortable.
We have hot and cold refreshments available during the day at our Café. We usually offer breakfast rolls until late morning followed by a selection of sandwiches and snacks. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know in plenty of time. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and food too.
